Make your choice for the Cubs 2015 #2 prospect.

Later on, we'll move to a system of multiple votes, but I think it makes sense at the top to just vote for a single player.

#1 Kris Bryant

Once again, I went with Soler. I think the offensive upside and amount of surety after already performing in MLB outweigh the positional advantage.

i want to know who the hell voted for almora and take away their privileges

Soler was my pick, though Russell may be the more valuable player down the road and at a premium position Soler already being in the majors and looking good in his time up last year gives him the edge for me.

how many more ABs does Soler have as a prospect?

He is 41 away from losing rookie status.

Soler has 711 minor league PA's, 10 in Cuba and 97 in MLB; 818 overall

Russell has 1138 minor league PA's, none above AA.

I know technically it's not how it works (the votes for the winner of #2 could all be allocated towards someone other than the loser for the #3 vote) , but should the loser of Soler-Russell vote just be given the #3 prospect rank to help speed things up? Just a thought, don't really care. It seems pretty clear we have a defined top 3.

We've done it in the past when it has been clear.

There's 2 guys that are better prospects than either Bryant, Soler, or Russell on his own team. That's just stupid amounts of talent, especially considering a guy at least at that level of prospectdom barely graduated from prospect status last year.

FYI, I picked Russell. 2nd time in a row I've picked a guy I project to be an inferior player over the guy behind him.

And they're joining a team with two 25 and under (deserving) All Stars.

the statement that "there are two guys that are better prospects than either bryant, soler (and/)or Russell on his own team."

to me that sentance says there are 2 unnamed prospects that are better than bryant, soler and russell. Maybe its the either throwing me for a loop or something, but it does not compute.

Are you just nitpicking some maybe awkward phrasing?

It's pretty damn obvious what he meant.

One of them is third best and it's crazy that any one of those three has TWO better than him in the same system.

That's how I read it at first, but I know Raw isn't a moron so I figured there must be an interpretation that makes sense. It wasn't hard to figure out after that.

I don't think I am nitpicking, I legitimately had no idea what he was trying to say. I didn't know if he had some newfound love for Schwarber or something. It's not obvious at all by what is written.
