Cubs players showed their generosity by issuing 60 full shares -- the most by any of the 10 major league playoff teams.

 

The Cubs, who lost to the New York Mets in the National League Championship Series, issued full shares worth $122,327.59 each. Only players who were on the major league roster the entire season were entitled to vote on how the shares were distributed, and they automatically qualified for a full share.

 

The Cubs also issued 8.25 partial shares and 13 cash awards.
