FLOWERY BRANCH – Seattle defensive end Michael Bennett, who had his career turned around by Falcons head coach Dan Quinn, is seeking a trade to Falcons, according to Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Bennett just signed a four-year, $28.5 million contract with the Seahawks last season.

Bennett, 28, signed with Seattle during free agent in 2013. He played under Quinn in 2013 and 2014 and developed into one of the league’s top pass rushers with 15.5 sacks.

Sounds like Rivers is considering moving on from SD and that they might trade him and/or go after Mariota.

The Colts propose a rule where TD drives can be worth as many as 9 points.

4 scenarios:

-Team misses a PAT or fails to convert a 2 point conversation: 6 point drive

-Team makes a PAT: 7 point drive

-Team successfully scores a 2 point conversion: 8 point drive

-Team successfully scores a 2 point conversion and makes a subsequent 50 yard FG: 9 points

Breaking: the NFL will scrap it's TV blackout policy for the 2015 season. Will evaluate how it goes after season. Teams voted on this today.
