RT @JenLada: Per @ZachZaidman, Mel Tucker in tears on the sideline. #bears

Congrats Bears, both your main coordinators have been seen crying in front of the team.

Glad we lost.

And I stand corrected...Bridgewater was great today against this stellar Bears' defense.

He doesn't really impress me at all. Whatever.

So glad the Bears didn't Bear that up and ruin the draft slot

Words like "great" and "stellar" were possibly not used seriously.

He is not good. He was extremely mediocre against an atrocious Bears' defense today. At least 60 of his 200 passing yards were directly a result of the Bears being clueless in coverage...that includes the touchdown. Not sure what people really see in Bridgewater, but he will wash out in a few years.

Bears 2015 opponents:

Home - Detroit, Green Bay, Minnesota, Arizona, San Francisco, Denver, Oakland, Washington

Road - Detroit, Green Bay, Minnesota, Seattle, St. Louis, San Diego, Kansas City, Tampa Bay

Kind of surprised Minnesota didn't kick it there.

Right call though

Agreed - just not used to NFL coaches going for it in that situation.

So by my math Cutler tied Kramer for the franchise yardage record?

I think he was 27 yards short

I think he needed 199 yards and got 172

How do we get such a shitty schedule?

I don't know how we were "fortunate" enough to get maybe the 2 best divisions in football (in 2014). Oh well, the rest of the north has to play them too and we get the last place teams.

There are only 2 games that aren't pre-determined regardless of record and we got TB and Washington in those.

Wash and TB was the other silver lining (with draft slot) to this loss.

I think Arizona and SF may be primed for down years- might not be a bad home schedule....

Ah crap I was looking at his 2009 yardage when I sorted single season yardage on my phone.

@kfishbain: Marc Trestman says he expects to be back next season. Has a meeting at 11 a.m. tomorrow.

I know he isn't going to say he expects to be fired but it's still funny to read it and pretend in some delusional world he actually thinks he's coming back.

On a side note it's been funny to see how much of a shell he's gone into in terms of comments to the media over the past couple of months. He was once praised for how open and candid his comments were...last week he was given a bone and asked which of his players deserved to be in the pro bowl...a chance to talk up his guys and his response was "no comment"
