Clausen has played well considering. I love Jay, but maybe the team has just given up on him

Near end of third quarter three huge turnovers and bears have 7 points.

 

 

5 dropped passes

So that's the team trying harder under the new guy? They dropped cutler balls as well. This game is about dumb lions. Not bears giving up or trying harder without cutler.

I didnt say they were playing harder with Clausen, I said maybe the players have given up on Cutler. Maybe they gave up on Trestman. Neither of those things have anything to do with Clausen, who is playing fairly well

Either players who have "given up" aren't playing less hard, or you did say they were playing harder with Clausen.

I am so conflicted. I cant help but cheer for the Bears even when I want them to lose.

 

Pros of a win:

-It's fun to watch Bears win even when terrible

-It's fun to beat the Lions

-Confidence for next year?

 

Cons:

-Might destroy draft positioning

-Helps the Packers win the division and maybe get a bye

-Keeps the 0.0000000001% chance of Trestman coming back because "cutler wasnt a good fit in his system, lets give him a try with a better system QB and ignore the fact that his team was a mess off the field due to lack of leadership and also made a [expletive] ton of inexcusable mental errors, some of them repeatedly"

 

[expletive] I have to root against the Bears here

The Bears winning doesn't really effect the Packers unless Green Bay blows the lead in the last 3 minutes.
