Moments after JVG said that stuff though, he also said they have to take the voting for the ASG away from the fans because "it's too important."

So maybe we don't listen to JVG so much, eh?

I am bit surprised that Pax took the bait and had such a defensive and emotional response. Yes, JVG hates the Bulls dating back to his Knicks assistant years in the 90's. So don't get so fired up - its not a surprise that he would say something like this.

We are just not going to get very far as long as Rose isn't getting to the line or racking up assists. glad to see he is aggressive though.

And wtf is up with dunleavy did he have the worst sprained ankle of all time or something.

Those of you not watching this game are missing arguably the best game this season.

I'd have enjoyed it a lot more if Rose hadn't had 11 turnovers and 1 assist.

Nice win, though.

Didn't see a second of the game but Rose got up 33 shots, didnt get to the line once, turned the ball over 11 times, had one assist and I'm feeling good about it all. Weird team.

Weird team and weird game.

Petition to play the rest of our games on the road against winning teams.

That was fun.

Going to the Laker game Thursday. Hoping Rose avoids 11 TOs again.

I think this is right....

The Bulls are 7-3 against the top 7 teams in the Western Conference, with 1 win against all 7 of them (we haven't played 8 seeded Phoenix yet)

Pretty sweet

Almost every team in the league lacks quality depth at the wing, which is why its the most valued position in the game today. The Bulls could unquestionably use another SG/SF swingman (Dunleavy is ok, but he's not good), but where are you going to find one?

EDIT: Maybe McDermott figures things out when he gets back?

McDermott is back. He's played about 90 seconds in the 5 games since returning. Thibs doesn't trust him for whatever reason.

He's not bad enough on either end of the floor, and he doesn't wear goggles. Case closed.

No wonder I didn't notice that he is back. Might as well send him to the D League so he can get some minutes.

Unfortunately the Bulls don't have a D-league team, so there's no way to do that to assure him minutes. He's just going to have to score 15 points in 90 seconds for Thibs to trust him on the floor.

I was wrong in thinking that he would be the 1st rookie to have any playing time under Thibs (not including when injuries forced him to).

The weirdness of Rose's line aside, the reason the Bulls won this game was Noah and Gasol. Noah looking like Noah again is huge for this team (to the point they can weather missing any SG production at all and a 33 shot, 11 TO game from their PG to beat an unbeatable team on the road).
