The Chinese DVD title for Notre Dame is "Jesus Buys Northwestern."

If football had seven quarters, the Aggies could have written the lyrics to Seven Nation Army chant on the scoreboard.

Lemme order for you, buddy. He'll take the Kevin Sumlin omelet. It's five goose eggs. Yeah, I know it costs $3.1 million.

Last time Bill Snyder worked a point that hard Julius Caesar died.

I don't know how these keep getting better each week.

It really is unbelievable "Just when you think they've run out of new sex positions, you see Minnesota's on top of the Big Ten."

Those guys have been on fire this year.

I love the buzz on game day. It'll be a "black out" tonight and while things like that are played out and cliche, the all black uniforms do look amazing.

Game days have always been fun, but it's so nice for ECU to be relevant again. To be ranked and hands-down best NC team (well, Duke would perhaps give them a run for their money (how strange is that to say)), has done a ton for this university and town. Hopefully they can keep the momentum going against a poor UCONN team tonight and don't have any slip-ups over the next several weeks. I couldn't imagine how exciting it would be to go to a BSC bowl.

Is there still such a thing as a BCS bowl? Are they doing the whole BCS bowl thing outside of the playoffs? Are the bowl matchups still going on?

I'm pretty sure the ones that aren't rotated into the playoffs are like regular bowl games with specific conference tie-ins. There are no more "at-large" teams selected. I believe those big bowls not hosting a playoff game (Cotton, Fiesty, Peach this year) still have a very high payout similar to a BCS bowl.

Really looking for South Carolina to pull off the stunner tonight. It's now a 20pt spread. And ESPNs win odds have this as the most lopsided game of the top ten with like. 90pct probability. While I recognize gamecocks have looked like [expletive] he absolutely should be a 1-loss team with wins over Georgia and ECU if you take away the epic collapses vs mizzou and UK.

They could easily have been prepping for auburn for a month because they are coimg off a bye and then furman. I like the upset potential here. Auburn has looked just ok at times and the gamecocks aren't as bad as them seem. Hopefully they can get a win.

Would love to see some upsets of the Sec West to open this up even more and get the big 12 teams back into the discussion.

Yeah, I don't like Auburn -19...more like -10. South Carolina is having a strange season, and I'm not sure which team is going to show up tonight. I'm interested to see whether this is the game true freshman Roc Thomas starts getting more carries. He's going to be the next great RB at Auburn.

Man it's just so hard to watch Michigan football these days.

It's pretty bad when a year ago Michigan scored 6 points in a blowout loss and it was an disappointing embarrassment. This year they might score 3 points and it's somewhat within the realm of expectations.

They [expletive] won?!

Beckman tried to sabotage it, but yep.

No flame, but as a Husker fan, I see a lot of similarity between the Callahan 'lost years' of Nebraska football with those of Hoke's tenure. Are he and his staff really that poor at player development? With all of the natural recruiting advantages UM has, it seems impossible to me that you've had two coaches in a row that aren't getting the job done at a Blue Blood university that is the winningest in college football history. Please help me understand what the hell is going on at your school.

man, people were saying that Michigan could turn it all around if they could beat MSU, and I was like, "what the [expletive] makes you think they are capable of beating MSU?" I mean seriously. yeah, if Michigan could have won out after getting pounded over and over then they could turn it all around! Michigan is terrible, holy [expletive].

cue furious Derwood

This loss was a foregone conclusion before the opening kick. Nothing about this is making me furious. I've conceded to this team's suckiness

South Carolina-Auburn is infinitely more entertaining than Ole Miss-LSU. Spurrier's converted two 4th downs on their side of the field. And South Carolina just recovered an onside kick in a tie game.

Jesus Christ, South Carolina was prepared for this game, and Spurrier is pulling out everything he has. AU will be lucky to end this one with a W.

this auburn defense needs a [expletive] pass rusher, and they just don't have one this year with the injury to Carl Lawson.

btw, the luck auburn had last year is no longer. they've had numerous questionable calls the past two games, but must admit the fairy dust from last year was due to expire.

How did that happen? Wow. [expletive] way for Ole Miss to lose

Got to throw it away if you do go for it. Just a horrible decision by a senior. Even if the Ole Miss WR somehow caught that pass into double coverage, he wasn't in the endone or near the sideline and they wouldn't have had enough time to clock OT.
