If you would've told me we were going to score 4 goals tonight ...

It's kind of on Bowman. When you have 4 defensemen that you can trust and they have to play the large majority of the minutes, they will be gassed and make mistakes.

Next defensive mistake loses it so better find some untapped stamina

lol, never a doubt.

Our legs are completely toast. I have no idea how they win two more.

I don't know either. If we can win one of the next 2, there are 2 off days before game 7 at least.

You realize that the Ducks are out there for the same amount of time, right?

Yes, but I also saw the end of the game.

I'm assuming he's referring to the fact that the Ducks play 6 defensemen and the Hawks 4 with 2 others getting bit minutes.

That's a big part of the cause, but I'm simply referring to how they looked the second half of regulation and OT. Utterly, completely gassed. As tired as I've ever seen them in the 7-year run.

Of course they could come out in Game 5 and look awesome. I'm just having a hard time expecting it.

They're a bunch of young guys who are also athletes. They could easily have energy after a day off.

I have to admit that I turned it off immediately after the third goal in a row.

It was a very pleasant surprise to see they had won.

Did you skip the first overtime because nobody looked gassed then. Both teams screeched to a halt in second overtime.

Any news on if/when Rozsival can return?

Cumiskey hasn't been horrible in the little time he's been on the ice, IMO. Timonen shouldn't get anymore ice time after that horrible display last night. He's slow, and basically started the entire 3 goal explosion for Anaheim.

- Cumiskey has been solid. He's mobile and moves the puck out of the zone nicely.

- Agreed that Timmonen looks cooked.

- The 2nd OT looked slower for everyone, including the Ducks defenders who stood in cement while Vermette ended the game.

- The Hawks had at least a half-dozen straight-on looks at Anderson. Maybe more. He's just been very good.

- We also hit the crossbar a couple of times. Bickell should have had one but was unlucky. He was good last night, taking the body every chance he got and getting in the "dirty areas".

- I don't know exactly what Dejardins was doing last night in our zone. He would sort of float in a zone rather than supporting the defensman on the puck.

- The Ducks do a really nice job of blocking shooting lanes, but if you do what the Hawks did tonight - catch them crashing the net and pinching in our zone and then following your shots - that can be exposed.

The one where the Blackhawks got outshot something like 15-6, constantly took icings because they couldn't skate hard to stretch passes, and repeatedly turned the puck over? That first OT? Yeah, I saw it.
