Can't say I've ever seen a penalty called, a guy goes to the box and then the call is reversed and he is let out. Of course it happens against the Hawks. 2 borderline calls in 30 seconds go against Chicago.

That was one of the more entertaining SOs I've seen. 5 goals in 6 attempts, Kane with another sick goal, Crosby lucked into a goal, Toews found a tiny opening in the 5 hole. Good stuff.

 

2-0-2 to start the 8 game homestand.

Man I remember waiting for him to come back from his concussion for a long time and I don't think he ever completely made it back. I'm scared that concussion had something to do with his death

 

 

Sounds like he was battling depression.

 

Which again might be caused by the concussion. Normally I wouldn't think so if its just one concussion, but the fact that he was out over a year and never actually made it back to the NHL afterwards (and he was only like 33) makes me think it was a particularly bad concussion that had lasting effects that never went away

So, Wings at the UC tonight. I'm sure this one means a lot more to the fans than the players anymore, but should be fun nonetheless.

Agreed, I also think we could be seeing these two teams meet for the Stanley Cup in June. What a great Final that would be.

Yeah, that would be amazing. Though it would be tough to top the series from a few years ago.

I'm getting sick of having no sports to watch with the NFL done and the NBA on break still, so I'm watching this game.

 

Teach me how to watch hockey.

Unbelievable. Absolutely terrible clearing attempt. Tried to get too pretty instead of clearing and instead it's a turnover and goal.

 

2 mins away from 0 points tonight. And as good as the Hawks played the first half of the game the Wings have dominated us in the 2nd half

Carwford has been horrible in the shootout lately.

 

Wings get 4 points out of 4 from the Hawks this year.
