Nope

Blackhawks are a mediocre 6-6 in their last 12 games. Yuck

Hawks are 2 points away from falling into a Wild Card spot in the West. No worries about not making it of course (still 9 points up on a spot) but blah.

i liked it better when they only lost when they dominated the other team.

they're going to have to play st. Louis in the first round again because they can't be bothered to beat inferior teams. [expletive] the annoying ass predators.

Mark Lazerus @MarkLazerus

Daniel Carcillo offered an in-person hearing for his cross-check on Mathieu Perreault. #Blackhawks #NHLJets

Mark Lazerus @MarkLazerus

By offering an in-person hearing, the NHL can suspend Daniel Carcillo for six or more games. #Blackhawks

Wtf Hawks. Get your heads out of your asses

These dual poor runs by the Hawks (6-5-1) and Bulls (5-6) are annoying

They're having a shitty defense contest.

Went to my only game of the season last night. Despite scoring 3 goals, the offense was just a bit off after the first 3 or 4 minutes, which they dominated but didn't score. A ton of passes that were just a few inches off and some garbage PP time. Just odd. The Stars capitalized on nearly all of their really good chances and almost scored a 2nd shortie. Seeing Patrick Sharp fight someone pretty much summed up the entire game--weird.

Went from 2 points out of the top spot in the West to tied for 6th pretty quick. Good thing is the Predators are without Rinne for 3-5 weeks. Not worried they are going thru their annual slump in mid January instead of March this year.

Winnipeg caught up to them. Wow. I'm a closet Jets fan, so I hope they make the playoffs. But [expletive].

Hawks have two games in hand though. To win the Cup the Hawks will have to go thru two of (STL,NSH, WPG) in the first two rounds anyway. Not really worried what spot it they end up in. Really did not matter much last year.

Dumb question, but if the Hawks finish 4th and get the 1st WC spot, would they automatically play the division winner with the worst record, or would they try to match them up to their divison if possible?

Hypothetical scenario to explain:

C1 Nashville 110

C2 St Louis 108

C3 Winnipeg 105

WC1 Chicago 104

P1 Anaheim 109

P2 San Jose 106

P3 Vancouver 99

WC2 LA Kings 98

Do the Blackhawks play Anaheim and play in the Pacific bracket with the Kings moving over to play Nashville, or would they keep the divisions the same since one from each division won the WCs?

WC1 would play Anaheim then stay in the Pacific bracket if they won their first round series.

Yes in that scenario. And LA would play Nashville in the Central. You could have the Hawks winning the Pacific bracket while LA wins the Central and meet up in the WCF.

Much better 6-1 although it was the Coyotes. On to Pittsburgh tonight, than a week off for the all star break.

You can get off the schneid by beating up on a bad team though. Hopefully Shaw is back on track.
