Any indication if Lester got a full no-trade clause?

 

Theo has expressly stated that those are a non-starter so if there is one, that will be quite a reversal.

By my overly optimistic projections, low 80s in wins, about 103 million in payroll.

What an incredible offseason for Theo! Never imagined Maddon and Lester. Wonder if anyone picks the Cubs as division winners now.

 

Right now? No.

 

Not even close. The Cardinals are a little thin in the sense that a run of injuries could screw them, but otherwise they win 95 games.

nah, cubs will only project as a wc for the week between now and the OF acquisition. these will be our darkest days.
