It all depends on how he looks in Spring Training. It's more likely that you'll see Julio Urias in Tulsa next year. They want to start Seager in Oklahoma City next season to headline the new Triple A club. It's similar to your Kris Bryant situation where the team will make a decision midseason whether to keep him in AAA all year or call him up to LA during the second half of the year. Joc Pederson forced their hand last year. He was the first player in 80 years to go 30-30 in the PCL. I am really hopeful that Seager does the same thing but my guess would be that he stays in OKC all year and Jimmy Rollins is a perfect one year bridge.

Oh cool I'm moving to OKC soon. Good to know that there will be decent prospects to watch with the Redhawks Dodgers.

I really wanna see Addison Russell come through with Iowa. I haven't seen the minor league schedule, but I'm guessing the I-Cubs don't go to OKC in April.

fwiw I love Chavez Ravine...too bad the locals have never seen the first 3 innings.

I love Wrigley Field too. Although it remains to be seen after these "upgrades" right?... and BURN hahaha. Not much I can say about that. You speak the truth.

That's awesome! The Guggenheim Partners (new Dodgers owners) bought the Redhawks from their old owners this year. It's all about the money to those guys, so you can always expect the team to be stocked full of top prospects. I always stay in OKC when I drive home to Indiana. It's the halfway point from LA to Indianapolis. So I will have to go check out the ballpark soon too. Maybe if I'm lucky enough I will get to see them play a team like the Iowa Cubs. It would be ridiculous to see a Triple A game with Seager, Russell AND Bryant.

I guess it's hard to understand for somebody that lives in a city with 2 professional baseball teams haha

Maybe I'll hit the lottery, buy the Angels from Arte Moreno and move those chumps to Indy.

Harry Caray thought they deserved a team!

"I'll do everything in my power to help Indianapolis get a franchise because I believe this city is where a major league team could really succeed" - Harry Caray

Believe it or not I have been a Dodgers fan since I was a kid.

The first baseball game I ever went to was Dodgers / Giants while visiting family in California.

I moved to SoCal after college and have since become a season ticket holder.

Maybe this wasn't a great idea.

If I wanted to troll you guys for a few laughs, I would have done it already.

And for those who think I'm an old member having fun with a new account... check my IP. I'm not hiding behind it.

I actually thought I could come over here and talk with some fellow baseball nerds during the offseason.

So much for "killing them with kindness".

Cubs fans are such hipsters.

not sure if this has been discussed but who do we have to send to the red sox for compensation?

I don't know do we have any prospects named Matt Morris or Woody Williams?

Waiting for the inevitable Kaplan dumb question

Someone already stole his thunder a bit...asking a variation of the "Do you know what you've gotten yourself into?" question.

I read somewhere that Cubs GM was going to be at this press conference to announce the signing of the largest contract in Cubs history, but I haven't seen him.
