Week 5: Bears (2-2) @ Panthers (2-2) Noon Fox/780

This might not be our year people. Allen, Slauson and Bushrod have never missed games (other than suspension for Allen). Looks like they are all going top miss in the first 5 weeks.

"@ESPNChiBears: Aaron Kromer tells us all #Bears can do is "prepare for the worst" in regards to Jermon Bushrod knee injury. Says they rotated players at LT"

[expletive]. This [expletive] doesn't sound too optimistic at [expletive] all.

How is Carolina still favored in this game?

road game

lost by 21 at home

defense didnt force a punt all last game

I know the panthers have a ton of issues with injuries, suspensions and poor play too but I don't think its insane that they are favored. they did just destroy the 3-1 Lions a couple of weeks ago (albeit followed up with 2 crappy performances)

'destroy' seems like a strange characterization

Lions played them pretty even (yardage, TOP) but mostly unenforced mistakes (TD drop, RZ fumble, missed FGs) were the difference

that should bode well for the Bears, following your logic

fair enough, ill admit i just saw the final score. That's scary then, it was the only thing holding me back from thinking the Lions are going to be awesome this year.

.@670TheScore has confirmed a fire truck & ambulance were at Bushrod's house yesterday at 10AM. FD says "false alarm" and "non-medical."

2. Jeremiah Ratliff took a step back. The defensive tackle is still recovering from a concussion suffered in the Bears’ Week 2 win over the 49ers and he sat out practice completely Thursday after getting out on the field for the first time Wednesday.

“I wouldn’t say there’s a setback,” Trestman said. “He’s still going through this process and he hasn’t been OK’d. Until he is, every (concussion) is independent of itself. There’s no two that are alike. Hopefully he’ll be back soon, but right now he hasn’t passed all the tests.”

jersey is usually really good at catching quick edit/deletions. The fact that you removed it without him quoting it is impressive.

Dying to know what it said.

Haven't you witnessed one of my epic fails?

It was like that. Except now it's a secret. Only goony knows

Really annoyed with the practice injuries. First McClellin, now Bushrod.

Time to try Long at tackle?

No, not in the middle of the season. If this was in camp, I would. Plus, it seems like only 2-4 weeks. Don't want to mess up 2 positions to fix 1. Play Ola, give him lots of help from Britton. Mills really needs to step up though.

That happened to me once when I got home late from a Twins game and set off our Brinks alarm in our old house back in mpls. Coos showed up in a matter of minutes

Predominately white neighborhood?

Brad Biggs says he thinks that Slauson will play, and that Ola will move to LT.

Fear.

Jay you poor bastard. Run hard. Run fast.

Luckily it might be the worst D-Line they play all year.

Nope. Look at the one on the schedule for next week.
