Still no televised game for Ten until they get out of Huntsville. I want to watch some Russell at bats if he's looking like he's getting out of his slump!

Quick update on the 2014 pitching draftees, since if you're anything like me they can be hard to keep straight by name.

28 to 4 K/BB. Really the most important thing at this point. Most of them should be not giving up runs at this point against lesser talented hitters.

.368/.464/.610

.358/.464/.659

One of these is Schwarber's line at Indiana, the other is his current line in full-season ball(aka excluding his near 2.000 OPS at Boise). Crazy.

Iowa hit 3 HRs in the 2nd. None by anyone who matters. Javy now with the longest Baez hitting steak in the system at 13 with a 2-run double.

Russell singles....but gets caught stealing.

They must have confidence in his hamstring. This Cubs FO is notoriously patient and cautious with their top prospects. Soler hasn't attempted to steal yet. When he pinch hit on his scheduled off day (2 on, 1 off is the pattern so far), he got on and was immediately taken out for a pinch runner. So, even though Russell was caught stealing, it's a good sign he even tried...

Don't forget 18th rounder Austyn Willis. He pitched 2 scoreless today and now has 4.1 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 6/3 K/BB

If I were going to, don't you think I would have by now? Where others have either run off or created ghost accounts for less, I've stood tall. Or at least average height. Only B2B has withstood more ridicule than I and stood his ground.
