Oh yeah, thank God they ducked a no-no with a mighty bunt single. That's infinitely less embarrassing.

Bunt single that needed review to overturn another out.

LIVIN' THE DREAM.

lol Michael Kay: "I don't know what happened. I'm not even gonna try to fake it here."

Heading into commercials: "Somehow, the Yankees scored a run."

Don't think I've seen that before.

What just happened? I was away from mdesk and missed it.

Dribbler hit, runner tagged out while the guy at 3B scored but catcher's interference ruled. Yankees given the option to have guys on 1st and 3rd or take the run and the out and they took the latter.

With the way Tanaka is pitching, this 3-0 game feels like Cubs - zero, Yankees - Ditka.

*cringe*

Maybe as the offensive team you can choose to decline the interference?

any defensive interference is a delayed call, so the offensive team can take the result of the play or the penalty. The penalty for interference is the player who was interfered gets the base he was going to, but the play is ruled dead when the interference occurred.

I have no idea why I was so excited that there was going to be a doubleheader today that I would get to watch. I guess just not being at work, because, as per usual, this blows.
