I really like Fox's new graphics.

for those of you who listen to games on the radio, would you say Ed Farmer is the worst PBP guy in the bigs? Bottom 3? I can't think of any I hate more than him.

I don't have much to compare them to, but DJ and Farmer are easily the worst broadcast duo I've ever heard. How they are still around is beyond me. Even when Judd Sirott does his awful inning with some of the brutal Cubs radio guys in recent years, it's still far more tolerable than DJ and Farmer.

Part of the problem is that Farmer and DJ seem to alternate on who's doing PBP, which is annoying as all get out. When the Sox had Rooney and Farmer, they were pretty listenable because Rooney controlled the game and Farmer was just there hanging out.

I don't mind Farmer and DJ, personally. Farmer gets a bit homerish with editiorializing the strike zone, but he has a quick wit too and DJ is fine as his Brenly-ish counterpart that riffs well but doesn't have much insight.

The John Sterling/Waldman combo is the worst by miles. Hard to believe they hold down the booth that once belonged to Red Barber and Mel Allen.

Clearly you've never heard Mike Shannon call a game. The most irritating thing about him is the utter disrespect of calling Greg Maddux Maddox. He's a turd.

Gotta agree with that.

John Sterling is the absolute worst. I can't even imagine the atrocities he'd say about players on other teams. Wait, yes I can...

"Oooohhhhh Rizzo, that ball is gonna MISSO Wrigley Field!"

"Oh Starlin, my Starlin!"

"Javy Bye-Bye Baby Baez!

"Kris Bryant hits a GIANT!"

"You can teach an OLT dog new tricks!"

I was really hoping for major regression from him this year. Looks like it has not started yet.

if you just always assume good things will happen to the cardinals and bad things will happen to the cubs, you will appear much smarter/be much happier in life.

I have heard Mike Shannon call many games. I consider that one a foot race.

This cannot be overstated. A Yankees radio broadcast is a painful thing to listen to. Sterling is a cartoon character and Suzyn Waldman is terrible at her job. They are also the biggest homer sycophants in the business.

Man, Texas's starting rotation right now is...not pretty.

I can't believe they didn't bring Tepesch with the big league club out of spring.

The absolute worst Sterling call I've ever heard was Granderson's first Yankees HR before he settled in on the "Grandyman" horse [expletive]. He said "Oooooh, Curtis, you're something sort of grandish!"

It was the douche chilliest thing I've ever heard in my life.

Lance Lynn off to a good start. 2 run shot to Jay Bruce that completely left the stadium and then gave up another to the next hitter.

It's great; you can make out the individual voices of Sox fans over the TV broadcast.
