Cowboys considering reaching out to Urlacher to replace Sean Lee. I, for one, would like top see this happen. Would be fun to see him in that market/train wreck.

In other news, I'm starting to warm up to the idea of Ed Reed as a Bear. It hasn't even been talked about, Just my thought. But FS is still really weak for the Bears and hes an easy cut if he Didn't habe anything left.

I don't know but I guess that means his offense doesn't really have much of a place in today's NFL. Granted there's always going to be certain preferences, but if you want to compete on a regular basis you have to be adaptive to player strengths since talent trumps all. Figure out how to use the talent you have.

but Martz's offense is what makes him Martz. I just don't see a point to changing what you do completely based on the players you have. Once you forsake what made you special, you become ordinary.

Martz's offense did pretty well considering what he was up against.

He definitely needed to change his scheme completely to use Greg Olsen or utilize Jay better.

He absolutely did not have to change it completely.

Jay had a productive year in Martz's offense.

He didn't have to reinvent his system just to use his best players well. I used sarcasm at first and stated the opposite. What's not to get?

As far as Cutler having a good season he had one good one and one bad one basically with Martz. But unless my memory is failing me his good season with Martz was 2011 where he just went into hero mode and seemed to succeed despite the awful play calling. Or was that 2012 that he had to constantly go into hero mode to overcome Tice's play calling? I feel like it was 2011 because I don't recall Marshall being there as a release.

@AdamHoge: #Bears sign undrafted free agent CB Al Louis-Jean from Boston College. Louis-Jean was at #Bears rookie mini camp last month.

Lamar Houston and Jordan Mills got into a fight in today's OTA, and Martellus got involved and had to be restrained. Trestman ended practice after that. Martellus still seems worked up on twitter.

I love that beat writers are comfortable retweeting/quoting tweets with curse words in them.

Well that's just silly. But good for him that he believes that.

It's probably closer to top 1 or 2 in the league, even though he's probably only about the 11th best on the team.

Cutler, Forte, Marshall, Jeffrey, M. Bennett, Gould, Allen, Houston, Briggs, Tillman
