If the Lions can't win the division this year than I'm not sure they ever will.

 

They did two years ago..

Nevermind I was in a drunken haze that entire winter. I remember them playing a playoff game in the dome, for some reason I thought it was in Detroit.

So the punt is blocked, a player illegally bats it forward 20 yards, and SF just has to eat those yards because accepting the penalty would result in Seattle getting to punt again? If that's the way the rule works, that's terrible

The Lions last division title was 1991, right?

Yeah something like that.

 

And I think that by beating Dallas that season, it was the only playoff win for the franchise in a long, long time. I still remember Wayne Fontes smoking a victory cigar as he was interviewed at the halftime of the Bears-49ers MNF game to end the 1991 season. The Bears were getting killed and that loss clinched the division for Detroit. I was so pissed at him. Then the following season Detroit opened the season in Chicago and Harbaugh led an improbable final drive which culminated in a Harbaugh to Waddle game-winning TD pass on 4th down...yes I'm old lol. But I enjoyed that season-opening win. Of course that Bears team fell to pieces after a decent start (4-3) and Ditka got fired. Beating down the Steelers in Singletary's last home game was also memorable.

man this Eagles game is going to be a hilarious comedy of errors. also, i passed like 400 accidents on the way to watch the game. when did people in this area turn into Atlanta or Dallas drivers when it snows?

Titans got hosed on a personal foul called on a hit on Decker imo. It was shoulder to shoulder at the moment the ball arrived, is that illegal now too?
