I like how guys get fined for hitting in the head, and then they complain about the rules. The rule that you can't hit people in the helmet has been in the league for a long damn time. I don't think you could ever do that. Jack Tatum didn't do that. He clotheslined fools. Ronnie Lott didn't do that. He hit your right in the numbers if you came across the middle. The only thing that has changed is the defenseless receiver and you can't "launch" yourself.

Oh and Merriweather has gotten owned on the field for about 6 years. He's a terrible/pathetic player who has always and will always break the rules.

Well, yeah. I don't disagree with any of that.

And Merriweather is a clown, yes.

I think it makes Merriweather sound like a douche. Marshall has since been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and has sought help for that. In my opinion, that plays a huge part in his past behavior.

And all charges were dropped. He was cleared of any wrongdoing. Think he's admitted to doing it though. But yeah, Marshall's clearly not that guy anymore.

Trestman with gamesmanship. Make 'em prepare for Cutty.

Whatever.

Probably, but it does sound like he could be back earlier than the 4 week diagnosis.

Maybe BM was right all along.

Washington looked way better on defense last week without Meriweather. They should just cut him. Meriweather's problem is the only way he knows how to tackle is with his helmet. He doesn't use his arms at all. He just launches head first at whoever is within striking distance. The entire league would be better off without him, including the Redskins, who get punished 15 yards at a time every time Meriweather makes a "tackle", which isn't really all that often.

Hmmm.....yeah, I still think he opened himself up to valid criticism when he started hitting girls.

People commit crimes. They get punished and then rehabilitated and rejoin society and try to better themselves. Is that not how it works? Is Meriweather a better person than Marshall right now?

i have no idea how they are as people. i know meriweather is a dirty player, i know that marshall has beaten women. marshall should never start media wars because he's wide [expletive] open. i never made any rhetorical comments about crimes or w/e

Keshawn picked the Bears...

http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks

Things going against the Bears:

-No Cutler

-No Briggs

-No or limited Tillman

-Defense was bad even before those injuries

-On road

-Facing top 5 offense

Things going for the Bears:

-coming off bye week?

-Packers have injuries too?

Yeah I don't see it Keshawn

No Clay Matthews. Since you named Bears players and not GB players.

I'd be hesitant to pick the Bears, also. But, shockingly enough, the favorite doesn't always win.
