Guy in my fantasy league has Bradford, Wayne and Martin all on his team. Ouch.

I have Bradford, Cutler, Cobb, and Wayne.

I really don't understand why they signed Freeman.

Favorite announcer moment of the season:

this is a terrible quarter of football. Both of these teams are just bad

Try David Wilson (suck ass anyway before getting hurt), Julio Jones, Randall Cobb, and Shane Vereen.... and I will be 6-1 in that league. Not to mention I lost Mayo and Cushing on the IDP side.

This is amazing:

The NFL are trying to get defenders to “lower their aiming point” when targeting opposing wide receivers. Josh Freeman needs to do so when he’s targeting his own receivers after consistently missing high and overthrown during his debut with the Vikings. If you were being generous, you would perhaps say Freeman was too eager, wound up too tight, to grasp the opportunity to put in a big game in front of a national audience and show that Greg Schiano and the Buccaneers were wrong to move on from him in such acrimonious fashion. That might explain a few early throws, if you were being generous, but if that were the case then the Vikings did nothing to calm him and bring his throws back down toward his receivers. Of his 33 incompletions, we charted 15 as overthrown either in the vertical or horizontal plane, two behind his intended receiver, and two underthrown. Having signed Freeman the Vikings made a clear signal that they were moving on from Christian Ponder and so they had to get Freeman in as soon as possible. This, however, was about as bad a start as either side could have imagined and had with little to do with the playbook issues that you would expect from a mid-season quarterback acquisition. Freeman’s -11.3 overall grade is the lowest single-game grade for a quarterback since we started grading games back in 2008.

Cutler, Don Julio, Doug Martin, Jermichael Finley, and Amendola. All on one of my teams.

That's a pretty wild table there. A whole bunch of teams in uncharted territory.

This week will be the first game week which Carolina enters with a .500+ record since 2008, which is incomprehensible to me.

Frazier and the OC up in Minnesota should be fired immediately. That was worse than any playcalling I seen from Shoop, Turner, Croton, Martz, or Tice in the past 15-20 years.

He's inaccurate when he knows a system, now he knows nothing and you want him to throw it all over the field with the best running back since Sanders in the backfield.

Lmao the Rams reached out to Brett Favre to see if he'd come out of retirement to play for the Rams. Favre turned them down.

I can't figure out if this was the most clumsy PR ploy ever or a sincere belief that he would say yes.

My guess is it was the result of a game of truth or dare between owner Stan Kroenke and GM Les Snead. Lot's of alcohol was involved.
