This team is just poorly constructed. You can't make shots, you won't win. Not just one game, been like this for years.

Bulls are pretty good at winning basketball games, but ok.

They're pretty good at winning regular season games (Thibodeau is 157-73) but Tom Thibodeau is 16-18 in the playoffs. And it's not all on him. This team has lacked a scorer for years. Eventually you might want to get one.

Don't leave us hanging. Give us your master stroke of GMing that will acquire a great scorer while preserving the core of the team.

Give up Butler and Noah for Love. Or Aldridge.

Well you have Mirotic coming over eventually. I assume Deng and Boozer will be gone. So you'll have:

PG Rose

SG ?

SF Butler

PF Mirotic

C Noah

You add a shooter there and a decent bench and I see a title team there.

Not a fan of Love at all. Think he's a white Carlos Boozer. Bad defense and will decline as he gets older. LMA I'd take though. Not for Noah though.

You wouldn't even trade straight up for that? That's crazy, especially since Jo's feet are about to fall off. Aldridge is the type of player the Bulls needs, especially if you want to beat the Heat.

What does Aldridge do that is going to help beat the Heat???

I don't know if the Heat are going to be much of a problem after this year.

I kind of think the opposite, I think LeBron knows this is probably the last run with this group, and is going to go balls out in the playoffs.

yeah he said after this year

Well as long as Butler and Deng don't get in simultaneous foul trouble we should be all right.

Definitely running a lot of new stuff on offense that once the first option is taken away we get confused and flustered.

Sad day for Rose. He is forced to realize again that this team is never beating the Heat in a 7 game series. Wade and LeBron were quiet and the Bulls still got hammered.

Uh, score consistently?

So your plan is for a front court of Boozer and Aldridge?

Defensively that would be a disaster. Probably would give up nearly as much as you gain.

For half a season I guess. Amnesty Boozer this summer.

Poor guy. I can hardly hold back the tears.

Season over, they had a bad game after Rose hasn't played a real game in 18 months and Noah didn't have a pre season : ( : ( : (

I honestly think the Bulls championship hopes for the future are directly tied to Mirotic. With their cap situation, you're going to have Rose and Noah taking up around 30 mill. Jimmy is a great asset for another year or two, then he'll get expensive himself. Taj is a very nice player, but in a star-driven league, his 8 mill could definitely be used in a more efficient manner. It looks to me like there is longterm room for one big contract and it needs to happen at the deadline or over the offseason somehow. If either Deng or Boozer are retained, is there a chance? Sure, but this has always felt and continued to feel like we're the mid to late 90's Knicks- Worrisome to play against, but a team that without a bit of luck , just isn't going to get over the hump.

Nah, I'm not basing it off a game. I'm basing it off a few years. Can this team win a title if they stay healthy? Sure. I don 't consider it likely and I think any sort of multiple title runs are almost non existent as constituted.

Mirotic needs to be a very solid starter/possible All Star and a FA or trade needs to bring in a solid 2/3, that's an upgrade from Deng for me to change my mind.
