It's Emery as well. It's certainly a 180 from the Angelo/Lovie era.

Over the last 12 hours, rumors have circulated of a potential trade that would send Giants receiver Hakeem Nicks to the Lions for running back Mikel Leshoure and a third-round pick.

Which is odd because the reason Trestman has a job in Chicago is because his predecessor had a worse division record than the Vikings. Division games are important for playoff tiebreakers. This is a more important game than a non-division game.

Right, but that wasn't the question. The question was about rivalries. Trestman knows the math. It's just not willing to meatball it up.

If the Lions just use him as a regular RB, and stop trying to protect him as if he's some franchise asset, I could see Reggie putting together a few pretty good seasons.
