Meanwhile every Castro PA after Schierholtz is like a sobering slap of reality.

I wonder if they'll send him somewhere this fall/winter to work on his mechanical issues.

Something...ANYTHING...I want to love again. He's so much fun to watch when he's hitting.

Nice moment, but it pisses me off they wouldn't do the same for the likes of Aram, Zambrano, or Sosa.

Yuuuuuuuup.

Jesus [expletive] Christ, Murphy is some kind of sorcerer.

The physical gifts are clearly still there, so all is not lost. Yet.

Pretty sure Aram got a standing O in his return. Z was a jackass so whatever.

Sosa would probably get a positive response overall...it'd be mixed, but I'm not really sure how much.

Eh, the Aramis one was a lot more "mixed" than it should have been (in the amount of people simply not cheering). Really nobody booing outside of a couple of jackasses, but I'd argue DeJesus just got a bigger/louder/whatever moment than Aramis did.

Aramis definitely was cheered when he came back.

Yeah, but that they wouldn't have to delay the game for at least 5 solid minutes of love from the crowd is a crime.

Yeah, probably.

It probably helped A LOT that DeJesus was on the Cubs like 6 hours ago, too, though.

Still no excuse for him to get a better response than Aramis [expletive] Ramirez, but whatever.

Like, does DeJesus get that response in June next year if he stayed with the Cubs the rest of this season and then signed with the Braves or something?

What a fun game.

Unfortunately Castro and Rizzo and Castillo had nothing to do with it.

But Samardz did :)

Wait, I have to watch all these Adventure Time episodes? The 2nd one wasn't bad, in lumpy space.

Hmm, if one can watch all these, I bet one could find a site that has... all the INUYASHA episodes!! Yeah baby. Never thought of that.

I also seen Jordan Zimmerman at UWSP. But only a couple of times.

Ever scout Illinois Wesleyan? We had a few guys drafted in my time there (Cory Lapinski, Drew Himes, maybe 1 other?). Our best player, Steve Schilsky, dropped in the draft big time after breaking his leg Junior year. Worst injury I've ever seen live.

Too bad you just missed scouting me at Naperville Central too ;) And too bad both schools won National & State Titles after I graduated... :good: :x

I'm starting to think 2-3 years for $15M might not be enough to keep Murphy in a Cubs uniform next year.
