CUBS are on a pace to go 59-103 this year.

 

CUBS went 61-101 last year.

 

 

They're not a better team until they start playing like one.

 

Or, as my mean old boss once told me...... Your next raise becomes effective when you do.

We should probably enjoy these next 6 games vs. the Marlins and Padres. Between then and the All Star Break, we get a very steady diet of very good teams; Cards (10), Reds (10),Nats, D backs, A's, and Rangers (1 game) as well as The Rockies and Pirates, who may or may not be taken seriously, and the Angels who can't really be as bad as their record suggests, and the White Sox, who may be only a tic better than us, but have owned us over the past few years. They sure love their BP Cup. But at least we get the Astros and Mariners sprinkled in there.
