He basically said, " I know this is their first moment and their big moment, but these coaches bust their butts and you don't need to play games. That isn't fair to John Groce. He is going to be a beast, but lets not start things off like that."

 

It's hard to disagree with that. It's weird when these kids do the preamble where they thank everyone for pursuing them and then turn around and pull a move like that. Someone did it to KU a few years ago, and I was pretty chapped.

Realistically, I think we're going to have to win a bit before the top talent starts heading down to Champaign. Weber really dug a pretty big hole.
