Just listened/watched his calls again of the Bickell and Seabrook goals. Just bang on perfect. You're right he knows everyone is watching and has been great this year.

wow, that pass for the assist by toews was incredible

man, i hope crow gets healthy soon, emery looked beat tonight

Yes he did. I didn't catch it, was Crawford the backup?

Hawks have 39 points. The Blue Jackets just got their 14th point tonight.

10th 1-goal loss for the Blue Jackets this year. Very frustrating

Yes, he was. He was in uniform and wearing pads on the bench.

That Toews pass last night to win the game was amazing. Seabrook said he didn't call out and that he never saw Toews look at him, and he had no idea how Toews knew he was there.

So I really don't care that much about ending the Hawks streak. I just wish the Wings would either just suck or become better. This hovering around mediocre kind of sucks. As the trade deadline approaches I actually kind of fear that we will trade a half way decent first round pick for a average dman(Quincey last season). So as tomorrow approaches I hope we either win outright and it starts a run that puts the Wings in the top half of the West. Which then would make some sense to be buyers at the deadline and the pick would not matter that much. Or just lose, get buried and outplayed which leads to the beginning of the eventual rebuild. Be sellers at the deadline, improve draft slot blah blah blah. Any kind of OT would just be frustrating.

NewUserName is awesome and provides great Hawks related commentary. His comments are always welcome here as far as I'm concerned.

I wanted to see if the Hawks start has changed anyones views on Stan Bowman and the job he's done. In the offseason (pre-lockout) there was a growing criticism of him and how hes managed the Hawks since the Cup. I'll admit I am surprised at the amount of depth it seems like this team has and the defense has been a crap load better this year. I don't know how I feel, I was on his side but was really wavering after what seemed like a bit of a disappointing offseason. I don't want to jump the gun after 21 games either.

Alright, fine! I know he made the Hawks comment, I just hate the Wings lol, annoys me when people wish them well in the Hawks thread, but I'll let it go.

Yeah this shows 0-0 can be just as entertaining as 7-6.

Bummer that the two guys who had the puck alone in front of Howard were Frolik and Carcillo.
