Wow. Ryan Swope to the reserved/retired list due to concussions. Lots here were clamoring for him, right?

Article about him missing offseason activities, but him being on the reserve/retired list is all over twitter right now:

but old style said he only had two concussions and was going to be fine

Statement from Rep1 client Ryan Swope:

“As a result of a concussion I suffered during OTAs, I was advised by doctors that there were serious risks in returning to play football at this point. It has been a lifelong dream to play in the NFL but my long-term term health interests outweigh my current goals for football. Because of that, I am electing to retire from the game for now and then reassess my future after this season. In the meantime, I plan to return to Texas A&M to pursue my degree. I want to thank the Arizona Cardinals organization for the opportunity and their support. I wish the team much success this season."

Just heard the news. I'm stunned. Feel horrible for the kid. He finished the season fine so that's why I thought the concussion talk was being overblown. Obviously I was wrong. Not the first time and won't be the last.

Suuuuuuuck.

Washington Redskins linebacker Keenan Robinson saw his rookie season come to an abrupt end last November when he suffered a torn pectoral on Thanksgiving against the Dallas Cowboys.

A torn pectoral will now cost him his sophomore season as well.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Robinson suffered a torn pectoral during Thursday’s practice and will miss the entire season. It’s the other pectoral he injured this time around.

Man all that pre-season hype of the 49ers and Seahawks was a bit overblown and then they lose Crabtree and Harvin to injuries. NFC is looking more and more wide open.

Eddie Lacy is doing what he can to make the Packer fans like him. Signing autographs, becoming a fat pig, etc.

Apparently Jason Campbell is outperforming Brandon Weeden in Cleveland.

As is Geno Smith to Sanchez (idk if that's surprising or not) apparently.
