I know they just signed him this week but does longwell really have no chance at a 65 yard FG in a dome? I'm just asking.

I would have kicked it. The odds of hitting it have to be better than a hail mary

They said his career long was 55 yards. Plus, they just brought him in this week. Probably the right decision to go for the hail mary.

There were at least four bad coaching moves made in the final 13 seconds of game time. Wonder if that's a record.

I'm still trying to figure out the mindset when you do an onside kick with 8 seconds left and you're up by 2.

Looks like I wasn't the only one having Vietnam flashbacks to that stupid Bears-Falcons game.

Cute timeout, Pete Carroll.

Also, not sure why ATL took a timeout with :13 instead of letting the clock run down.

Smith calling that TO with 13 seconds left was as bad as the playoff game when Lovie Smith called a TO with 1 second left against the Seahawks to give them a free shot at a hail mary to end the Bears season.

Had no idea that Gonzalez had never won a playoff game.

I know he's been around forever, but the Chiefs havent won a playoff game since the early 90s

What was the fourth?

-Carroll calling the timeout to ice the kicker

-Smith calling the timeout with 14 seconds left rather than running the clock down

-The terrible kickoff

Was it Seattle's play only going for four yards?

I can't believe Danieal Manning was caught from behind.

Well, I disagreed with chucking up a Hail Mary rather than kicking a 65-yarder indoors, even if it is Ryan Longwell, but I guess reasonable minds can differ on that.

Gotta be disappointing to only get 3 there.

mike smith ran blustering over to the ref like he'd never coached a game before. after that mistake, they really should have snapped it, taken a knee, snapped it again quickly and then clocked it.

Well needless to say, this weeks games were infinitely more entertaining than last weeks. And we're still not far into the 4th one.

haha, it was mike smith sprinting down the sideline trying to find a ref as fast as possible for no reason

also enjoyed the idea of the seahawks kicking a fg and going for an onside kick when down 6 with 30 seconds left

I know it's probably over anyway, but this is terribly lazy for a team needing 18 points in the 4th quarter.

The Niners have won 12 games this year including the playoffs but their longest winning streak is only 2 games.

They've gone WWLWWLWWTWWLWWLWW so far.
