Ill pencil this game as a loss. This Bears offense is a complete failure

Of course you will.

Oh you're filled with confidence after that mighty offensive performance of 249 yards and 6 points?

I'm sick of watching my team squander games offensively and look like the Jaguars on offense in big games.

I thought Webb, Carimi and Louis played well along with Marshall. Everybody else sucked the big one.

This 49ers defense is better then the one we faced yesterday.

As much as it sucks when the Bears lose there's at least the consolation of watching you meltdown.

Quite the irony that this is coming from the guy who cried about whiffing on the cant miss pitching prospect out of Korea.

Does somebody want to pull up our offensive rankings (without DTDs) and overall QB rating or would that be overreacting too? We're one loss away from the Packers with the tougher schedule. I'm sure you understand how a Bears fan can't feel too comfortable going into that Bears/Packers game with the division on the line.

Great, now Jay's softness is getting the Bears fined, you guys.

NFL.com reports the league is reviewing the Bears' handling of Jay Cutler's concussion in Sunday night's loss.

Cutler was clearly dazed after taking a helmet-to-helmet shot from Texans ILB Tim Dobbins late in the second quarter, but finished out the half before being ruled out at halftime. The Bears can likely expect a hefty fine. The good news for Cutler's Week 11 prospects is that he has an extra day to get healthy, as the Bears will travel to San Francisco next Monday night.

Nope. Bears cleared.

“Our office reviewed it with the [bears] medical staff and it was properly handled,” said NFL spokesman Greg Aiello, via Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times. “The team followed the correct protocol.”

Going into this 2 game stretch I thought the Bears would split and for some reason I always had a better feeling about the SF game. I say regardless of who starts at QB for either team the Bears will win this one. Something like 17-13 sounds right.

The offense legitimately concerns me in many areas including play calling, the offensive line, the TEs and now the backup QB but in still holdin onto my belief that there is still a higher ceiling and can and likely will be reached by the end of the year.

I asked this last night but can anyone remember a Bears loss that was back and forth and the Bears just happened to falter in the end? I don't know maybe that is not possible to do anything but dwell on nothing but negatives when the team loses but it feels like whenever we lose its an anemic offensive performance with lots of stupid errors we almost never do, etc.

Nah, that didn't happen. Like I said, you completely whiffed the whole conversation there and, as per usual, made something up.

The team has plenty of flaws. The consolation is I can witness spazzes spazzing over it.

Maybe the Seattle loss in 2010.

We've been able to live with the anemic offense. Add bad turnovers to the mix, though -- that pushes it over the edge.

It's less turnovers on their own so much as bad hands in general last night. It's bad enough when guys are popping the ball loose, nevermind they're not catching balls right there for them. Davis arguably singlehandedly lost this game.

Interesting. I guess everybody but you "whiffed" on that conversation.

One of the many reasons why I lost my cool during last nights game is the same problem reared its ugly head for this franchise. The never ending botched evaluation of personnel on the offensive side of the ball. Kellen Davis was so hyped by this team to be a good TE, Hester is trotted out every Sunday at WR and the Oline are just a few examples.

I hope going forward Emery can change this. I'm not high on Shea succeeding long term and I do wonder if Lovie will ever be have a successful offense to go along with his good defenses.

How many years ago was that Atlanta loss where Matt Ryan became famous?

You have to be absolutely [expletive] kidding me. This better be false.

Mcclellan's concussion symptoms were apparent immediately per Lovie. Cutler was evaluated during the replay review, and had no symptoms at that point, which was why he was allowed to return.

Lovie said he's not sure if either will be available on Monday, but that they'll go through the process/procedure and that certainly having an extra day will help.

Doesn't seem that long ago.

No, then you're just usually not around as much, thankfully.

And if you actually care about the Ryu stuff then go read the thread; there's a decent debate going on there. If not, just keep embarrassing yourself by not knowing what you're talking about.

I'm 'embarrassing' myself on an Internet forum? Comedy gold.

I read the thread and you got called out. It's all good.

Back on topic, there are plenty of reasons to worry about this offense and to be upset over last night is not overreacting.

Nah. Please resume your usual tediousness of being the Aramis Fan of the Bears threads.

Rotoworld with an encouraging update:

Bears coach Lovie Smith was noncommittal Monday on the Week 11 status of Jay Cutler (concussion).

Smith said Cutler is "getting better," and that he's shown no ill effects since Sunday's concussion knocked him out of the game for good. Cutler has an extra day to gain clearance for Week 11 because the Bears face the 49ers on Monday Night Football. We'll have a better idea on his status late this week.
