What's the usual turnaround time for concussions? Does such a thing exist?

Depends on the severity obviously. He could play next week or his career could be over. That's why they're so terrifying.

He played the rest of the half. That tells me he will only be out a week or two. I don't expect Jay to play against the 9ers. Therefore, this game will likely be a display of offensive suckage.

He won't miss 2 games.

Maybe don't expect it, but it's possible. It has been done before. Most likely we will have Captain Check Down starting at QB next week though.

As for Cutler's status, Smith said it was too early to say if he would be available for next Monday night's game at San Francisco. Smith did say that Cutler's concussion symptoms started to clear up during the second half and that the quarterback wanted to go back in, but "that decision was made for him" by the team doctors.

I think my least favorite thing about this loss was how we wasted a solid OL performance against a really good D. and our QB died. unfortunate.

If someone would have told me before the game that the bears would give up 0 sacks today, I would have obviously assumed we scored more than 6 freaking points.

Sounds pretty mild to me. Plenty of players play the following week after a concussion, and the extra day of rest can't hurt.

Then again, it's far from the first concussion he's had so it wouldn't surprise me if he sits.

Ill pencil this game as a loss. This Bears offense is a complete failure

Of course you will.

Oh you're filled with confidence after that mighty offensive performance of 249 yards and 6 points?

I'm sick of watching my team squander games offensively and look like the Jaguars on offense in big games.

I thought Webb, Carimi and Louis played well along with Marshall. Everybody else sucked the big one.

This 49ers defense is better then the one we faced yesterday.

As if the matchups on MNF aren't bad enough, they finally get a good one and both QBs may be out.
