I wonder how Bob feels about going from working with Len, who is one of the best broadcasters in baseball, to working with Dick Stockton, who I'm not even sure if he knows he's broadcasting baseball.

Lol how many calls are they gonna get this postseason?

Technically, it's the right call, but the "in the neighborhood" call goes the defenses way, like, 90% of the time.

Right. I doubt that call goes that way if the cardinals are in the field, tho.

Beautiful, next they'll fight with announcers.

So I'm thinking about this whole "playoffs are a crapshoot" theory. If the Cardinals win today or tomorrow they will be 7-1 in their last 8 playoff series with teams that finished a combined 352-296 (which is average record of 88-74).

Does this help prove the playoffs are a crapshoot theory or disprove it? Are the Cardinals just on an incredibly lucky streak or have they somehow discovered (accidentally or not) a formula to win consistently in the playoffs?

I have a hard time seeing how that's possible.

YES.

Now if the A's can win tonight it will be the perfect day of baseball.

Oh, and the Orioles, almost forgot about them.
