Almost 30. Hinshaw will be 30 at the end of October,so why send down Beliveau who' been doing well, aside from a few more walks that we'd like? I have no problem with Rusin. I've been all for auditioning him for a while now.

Know something about what you post before posting. Please.

How about the fact that Beliveau and even Maine are younger, similar power lefty arms with similar K% and notably better BB% throughout their minor league careers? So I was off by a year on his age.

They claimed a guy that they presumably value enough to at least take a closer look. The sole roster cost is maybe 3 outings for Beliveau who isn't going to pitch for at least the next day or two anyway. There's no reason to complain about this, let alone act (as you did) as if the Cubs made some stupid mistake by sending down a promising player for some significant period of time to make room for a washed up player.

Why is he allowed to post at all? Many threads end up dedicated to telling him what a dumbass he is. He then adds another stupid comment and the entire process is repeated. It's all so pointless.

1) He's not breaking any rules

2) Use the ignore function if needed.

Seriously.

I do have him ignored. Here's what happens:

Ignored post I don't see.

Reply telling him he's an idiot.

Another post I've ignored.

Then the next topic has the same thing.

I realize being a moron is not against the rules. It brings down the site. Yes I'm still reading the site because there are people making comments that I value. Then there's this that comes with it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't care for it.

I find it very intriguing that you find the person making the post you've ignored to be the problem in that scenario.

I'm just pointing it out to the board. Everybody can read into it what they want. I've encouraged people who reply to ignore him before, too. If it was my board I'd tell him to get lost, but it's not.

Personally I don't like ignoring posters. There's no ignore feature in real life and encountering them on the internet makes my real life interactions easier.

And anyways, if you see a imbedded quote with a poster you don't care to read, cant u stop once you ser their username?

BELIVEAU WILL BE BACK IN TEN DAYS.

True as it may be, if I must choke down God awful baseball, I prefer to watch palyers that have a chance to play a role in the future, and Hinshaw does not fit that mold as far as I'm concerned. Beliveau does. If they needed the roster spot for someone who really seemed promising, I'd have no problem with it. However, going by minor league career numbers alone, Hinshaw is basically an older, poor mans Beliveau, or a lower-middle class Scott Maine.

There sure as hell is.

Not really, most of us have to deal with people we can't stand at some point. Work, school, etc.

Not if you're deaf like me... Just act like you're fixing your hearing aids or cochlear implants and turn them off when you put them back on until they leave. It's a pretty nice ignore feature. Although I will not recommend that you do it in a classroom.

Lol, not all of us can go that route.

We could get something decent if we pick up most or all of his 2013 salary. By decent, I mean just that.

that last sentence sums up your posting style perfectly.

BY DECENT, I MEAN DECENT. I LIKE TYPING.
