B Jaxx = C Patt

I'd be very pleasantly surprised if he turned out that good.

Wow. The Cubs are marketing the celebrity singers as a reason to go to the game. SMDH.

Going to need a couple runs next inning because Street is lights out at PETCO. ERA at .48 at home with batters hitting .098/.167/.164/.331. Last time he gave up a run was June 17th against A''s. Edited by bleedingblue

Wow Josh Vitters

What did he do, for those of us not able to watch?

great diving stab to his right and then a tough through across the infield for the out

Oh, that's been going for a while now. Not pleasant to watch.

Even when the Cubs are good I can't stand the trips out west. The crappy late start times, the stupidly cavernous ballparks where power dies...just a parade of a tedious, boring games more often than not.

I'm here in San Diego with my daughters, going to the game tonight and tomorrow. Our hotel is about 500 feet from Petco, with a great view of the Stadium!! I think the Cubs may be staying across the street. My nephew works for the Padres and we got to tour the stadium and go out on the field. We may be able to get on the field for batting practice, so will try to get some good pics.

Looking forward to seeing the young guys play!!

You weren't holding a sign that said "Came all the way from Iowa" were you?

I have always loved West Coast Cubs baseball and, after watching the Cubs lose time and time again, I'm not sure why...

If it's the same as me then it's because it was awesome when you were a kid and were able to do it and it's still fun now. It's like the conclusion of the day in sports too.
