Rough game tonight. Travis Wood didn't look horrible, and Castro took a walk. But seeing Jackson striking out four times was bad. I hope he doesn't let it get to him and just focus on getting good at-bats together.

I'm here in San Diego with my daughters, going to the game tonight and tomorrow. Our hotel is about 500 feet from Petco, with a great view of the Stadium!! I think the Cubs may be staying across the street. My nephew works for the Padres and we got to tour the stadium and go out on the field. We may be able to get on the field for batting practice, so will try to get some good pics.

Looking forward to seeing the young guys play!!

You weren't holding a sign that said "Came all the way from Iowa" were you?

No, we didn't have a sign. There was a couple near us that had a pink just married sign. LOL.

I was telling my daughters how frustrating it is when your goal is just hoping your team can score a run. Not fun to go to a game and watch them get shutout.

Jackson looked completely lost. Way late on any fastball, and a mile ahead on any breaking ball. I think he fouled off maybe 2 pitches all night. The play Vitters made at 3rd was highlight reel material, but that was pretty much it for him.

The ball does not carry worth a [expletive] in that ballpark!!!! Rizzo crushed one to deep C that just died. The Padres hit 3 or 4 balls that would have gone out of most ballparks.

We sat on the 1st base side last night, on the 3rd base side tonight. Hoping for a better result.....
