Kind of weird there hasn't been more talk about Maholm being traded. I would have figured he'd be the kind of low budget option for a team looking to shore up its rotation that would get attention as the deadline approached.

I don't understand why Russell wasn't warming up for a left handed pinch hitter. Is Sveum waiting until Camp gives up a few runs to get someone up?

 

The failure to add on in the first inning and the dumb hit and runs are proving costly.

 

Edit: I guess it didn't matter since Camp got the job done.

Russell was warmed up & ready to go in the previous inning, he might have been able to come in if needed without additional warmup tosses. Just a guess.
