I really appreciate when I'm thinking "I wonder how bunting it would go" and the next pitch he tries to bunt

An A's-Tigers Wild-Card game is going to be hilarious.

Also, so much for the Angels being doomed forever because of their free-spending ways.

Seems odd that you are laughing at the Tigers in one statement, than seem to be praising the Angels in the next.

All misfortune in others is funny, even if for opposing reasons.

The Tigers, A's and Rays are my 3 favorite teams besides the Cubs for various reasons. But I am kind of with you on the Tigers and A's because all the talking heads proclaimed them as the teams to beat because they were the most active pre-deadline. It annoys me how easily pundits will make such proclamations just because a team has a shiny new thing.

What game is it from? It says the video is not available in my country.

It's Steve Stone's butchered HR call from the Sox game last night.

I'm guessing it's one of, if not both, of these?

I am fascinated by the Rangers. What a mess of underperforming, expensive vets (sans Beltre and Darvish, I guess) and middling or flat-out bad prospects. How are they going to fix this?

They are effectively in the opposite situation that the Cubs are. The Bizzaro Cubs, if you will.

Well, they can expect better years from Prince Fielder and Shin Soo Choo next year. Andrus is better than he showed too. They should also get some more production from young guys like Profar and Odor next year.

On the pitching side of things Holland, Harrison, and Perez have combined to throw just 75.2 IP this year. They should be better there too.

That gets them back to below-average. I don't know how they're going to right the ship past that though.

Yeah, they need some bounce backs + health and then after that probably throw more money at the team if they want to compete and pick up some FA or take back a big contract or 2 in trades.
