No Lesley that's not what I'm wondering, I'm wondering how you aren't melting under that light.

Yeah...she went a few plastic surgeries too far.

It's the fact that IU fans aren't embarrassed by him that's telling.

I think the fact that Purdue just got swept by IU and might not beat them again anytime soon, that is a lot more telling.

We've got like 30 to burn before you catch us in the all-time series...

Yeah, I lose sleep at night over that all-time series.

So in other words, you accept your role in the grand scheme of things. =D>

As, in, we've beaten you more often? Yes? Is IU the only blue blood with a losing record against their chief rival?

Well duke and UNC play each other. So no.

Anyone think Sullinger comes back next year? He's slipping in the mock drafts (Ford has him at #13 right now) and he's being exposed as a soft cry baby who lets the refs get into his head

Coming back won't help him. He needs to go before he's exposed, like last year.

I've actually seen Indiana win a national championship in my lifetime along with two other final four appearances and you are trying to troll me on the IU-PU overall series? I guess I could pretend to care for your sake. :hello:

In the NCAA tournament, Bo Ryan has one win against a better seeded team, against Florida State in a 5-12 game. That's pretty incredible.

What's coach K's record look like?

5-3

Really? That's awesome actually. Especially since he's almost always a one or two.

Ok ok. I lied. It's actually 5-4 cause I forgot about 2003...

Wins:

1988 Elite Eight (2) Duke vs. (1) Temple 63-53

1989 Elite Eight (2) Duke vs. (1) Georgetown 85-77

1990 Elite Eight (3) Duke vs. (1) Connecticut 79-78

1991 Final Four (2) Duke vs. (1) UNLV 79-77

1994 Elite Eight (2) Duke vs. (1) Purdue 69-60

Losses:

1987 Sweet Sixteen: (1) Indiana vs. (5) Duke 88-82

1990 Title Game: (1) UNLV vs. (3) Duke 103-73

1994 Title Game: (1) Arkansas vs. (2) Duke 76-72

2003 Sweet Sixteen: (2) Kansas vs. (3) Duke 69-65

Just for fun, here are equal seeded games. Obviously these are all either Final Four or Championship Games:

1986 Final Four: (1) Duke over (1) Kansas 71-67

1999 Final Four: (1) Duke over (1) Michigan State 68-82

1999 Title Game: (1) Connecticut over (1) Duke 77-74

He's not even the best player on his own team if he comes back.

He's already exposed. He won't be able to play the 4 in the NBA....too slow, too weak.

bo is sobbing in his cave, pantsless, hair like a wild ape's, sportjacket lapel still-adorned with pin. a trickle of moonlight filtering in and across his brow. his is the wail of the uncivilized and barbaric mute, and it sounds over the primordial steppes as music, lonely and shrill. he rubs his crotch violently with the debris he has scavenged from untended campsites, still singing that same sad song of despair. he drifts into an uncomfortable sleep.

jesus how does this go two pages and no one acknowledges it.

Agreed. He's not going to get bigger and jump higher now.

It's like when the NBA got tired of giving MJ MVP awards. We just are so used to this kind of quality out of Sully.

He will probably get bigger, but not in a good way.

My only debate is if Bo was trying to get Berg back in the game, then take the timeout. Otherwise, you have the ball in the hands of your senior PG, down by one. You trust he makes the right decision. He's made the big shot plenty of times in the past.

He ran him to the table to try to get him in for the final possession. Since he didn't get there and Cuse was already set in their defense he just decided "welp, guess I can't get him in". WTF?

Take the timeout, get him in and draw up your zone play.

I just hope he doesn't go with the pirate earring. That won't help.

Sullinger would probably do better getting fat like Big Baby Davis than what he's doing now. At least he would take up space

I thought every team he coached is his least talented team since he always has the same group of faceless ghouls playing for him. :-k

I've always argued he has had talent. This year he had Jordan Taylor. He did a superb job.

He's a great evaluator and developer of talent. Taylor was a 2 star and barely recruited, Ryan Evans was a wreck his first two years out of HS, and Berg is plain awkward. But look how those 3 have played this year.

Huh? Taylor was a top 125 player and Mr. Basketball in Minnesota.
