Apparently Kendall Marshall broke his right wrist during the game. They just mentioned it before the Xavier-Lehigh game.

They're less talented but he was divisive in the locker room. Ryne Smith, one of our three Seniors called it addition by subtraction. He was our best on ball defender and I think he was third in scoring.

 

We're down to 10 scholarship players (well, a walk-on has one but he never plays) and a redshirt freshman Anthony Johnson has picked up his minutes.

I've heard Ryne Smith is kind of a d-bag though. I mean I can understand Barlow's shenanigans could be distracting but at the same time, I think having his talent on the roster would only help Purdue's chances. Purdue did kind of rally together when that happened so...I dunno. But it did hurt their depth.

Because Lehigh is actually a half-decent team. Norfolk State should have been a 16.

broke my scaphoid in high school. i was in a full arm cast for 6 weeks after surgery, then a forearm cast with my index and middle finger immobilized for another 2 months.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I think Barnes has a decent NBA future. I think he's like Carmelo Anthony, but not as good of a scorer. Like Rudy Gay, but not quite as athletic. Like Luol Deng, but not as good on defense. I think he's ultimately a guy that's going to get 15-20 ppg for the most part. He's not a franchise changer like a Durant, but he's a good piece on a team with a really good PG and an inside presence.
