Light standards as shown in LF part of new Wrigley plan. No lights now on video board. #Cubs

OF doors will be expanded for bullpens but #Cubs say ivy won't be negatively impacted

#Cubs say mid-July groundbreaking planned for clubhouse. Ready Opening Day 2016

Ok, crazy if they start that in July and it takes til Opening Day 2016 (since they can seemingly work in season)...but also makes a little more sense now why it's further away.

hahaha [expletive] off rooftops!

it's glorious

if i had to guess, that one random one with the cub logo out in LF foul territory will probably be one of the ones sacrificed when they throw tunney a bone

Are we supposed to read anything into the Miller Lite sign saying "Last Call?" lol

Is that the miller lite sign, or a sign inside Wrigley designed to get in the way of that sign, thus, eliminating the value of the sign.

Think t hat's what the Budweiser sign (that currently says Wrigley Field) is.

The last call sign is right on that rooftop.

Cubs prez Crane Kenney expecting lawsuit from rooftops but holds that outfield signs are "expansion" of the park and don't violate terms.

I like the bullpens where they are, but if the ivy isn't affected that does look pretty cool.

I can't imagine that any change would be more than a couple feet (in terms of widening one of those openings in the wall).

Hahahaha. Look how high the bleachers go and THEN a huge sign on top of them. [expletive] you, rooftops!

I'm probably more purist than most of you on here, but I reconciled that because it obviously will be good for the team. All that said, even from a purely aesthetic standpoint those pictures are beautiful.

This is my favorite, with the rooftop fans staring directly at the back of the video board. HA!

So with the bullpens, would they just have cameras in the bullpens for tv purposes, to see who's warming up? People in the park just won't ever know who is warming up? Or if anyone is?

I'm sure they could put it up on one of the many video boards.

This is standard procedure throughout the league.

I'm all for "normal" bullpens.
