I'm so excited about this year.

Going to training camp Saturday. I'll post pics if I manage to take any.

Nice. I think that's the first day they'll wear pads.

If anything, the Bears have been one of the better conditioned teams in the NFL under Lovie. Urlacher, Briggs, Peppers, Idonije, and the CBs have been on the field a ton of plays the last few years. Offensively, Forte has been in great shape the last 2-3 years after having knee surgery before his 2nd year (I believe). The only cases of players being overweight/out of shape are Marcus Harrison and players who have had offseason surgeries, but all have gotten it together pretty quickly.

Yeah, conditioning has never been a problem.

I wonder if it's just to get them doing something physical on day one. Apparently the new CBA says they can't practice on the first day of TC.

Sneaky Lovie.

Don't think I'll make it to camp this time around, post pics please.

Don't have high expectations. I don't even own an actual camera. If I take any, they'll be phone pics.

@ESPNChiBears

J'Marcus Webb at LT during first drill of camp, but Webb and Chris Williams will split reps until further notice.

If Webb wins the LT spot, Id hope Williams would still go back to LG. Id hate to see the best Olineman from last year on the bench, though Id imagine the coaches dont want to have to cange LG and OT again if one of the tackles gets hurt this year

Chicago traded a late-round pick to the Buccaneers for DT Brian Price, per sources.

Okoye is the one offseason loss I'm bummed about. Was really hoping to retain him.

are you legitimately happy or just happy he's a bruin?

It sounds like he's a significant question mark. The talent was there coming out of college, but injuries and personal issues derailed him. He also had a falling out of sorts in Tampa.

We're giving up next to nothing for him. If he pans out, his original value was much higher than a 7th rounder. This statement makes me cringe:

Price had two surgical procedures to re-attach his hamstrings to his fractured pelvis more than a year ago, but is believed to be fully recovered.

That just sounds nasty. I know modern medicine is amazing and all, but I can't even imagine going through something like that.

Both. He was extremely talented when he came out of UCLA, hope his injury issues aren't a concern.

Bucs DT Brian Price failed conditioning run before his trade to the Chicago Bears.
