Do we have a realistic shot at JR? How much can we offer him? In the end, a team with a trade exception will snag him, at least that's what I'd think anyway.

i should have said they should TRY to sign jr smith.

honestly i'd go after smith hard anyways and then give deng a LOT of days off, or even extended stretches off. just play him like half of the games for the rest of the regular season. we should still get a 2 or 3 seed and have deng in the playoffs.

I like jr but want nothing to do with him as a bull. He's a volume scorer off the bench and doesnt serve any need for this team. He can help a bunch of teams but not the bulls. I doubt garpax even considers him. He's just not a fit for our group.

the bulls biggest flaw is still that they don't have another guy who can create offense and get hot at times so rose doesn't have to do it 100% of the time. yes he can be a chucker but the bulls need someone to create when rose is doubled or having a bad game. that's what happened in the playoffs last year.

luol says surgery is still an option and if he has to have it, he's out 3-4 months and basically done for the season.

i cant help but feel like this is eventually going to tank the season.

Did he say that after the game? Just wondering because I posted that a couple of pages ago but it was from like KC Johnson. Interested to see his thoughts after the game.

Deng played 40 minutes last night in a blowout. Based on our team presidents proclivity to coach out the coach for overplaying an injured player im gonna assume luol's wrist is okay, and based on that not sign a guy to replace him in the rotation.

JR is more fun to watch than actually productive. Im all for an insurance policy if somebody decent gets cut on friday when the deals lock in, but not a guy who will disrupt the flow by tting 6-7 threes off in 20 minutes.

Also we dont have the money to sign him anyway.

Doesn't everyone already know this?

Just hope one of our normally inadequate shooters can get hot at the right time. It can happen. Place all your hopes on it, and none of your money -- because that's probably what would put us over the top.

It's an electric sounding crowd though It's hard to tell if it's all Bulls fans there.

It was legitimately 90% Bulls fans in the building.

Makes sense. Looks like the Bulls have the top home attendance in the league for 2012, and are 6th in road attendance (why are the Jazz & Suns ahead of us?). The Bucks are 24th in home attendance. Maybe if the winter had been colder, Milwaukee would have more reason to go to the Bradley center.

Hahahah I saw that yesterday. as a non-bulls fan, i can still love noah despite any regression he may be going through.

YES! I was hoping that gif would pop up somewhere!

EDIT: I'm pretty sure Omer is clapping for Noah and not the on court play.

There's a thread on RealGM about this pointing out that Noah once complained publically about LeBron dancing during a Cavs blowout of the Bulls. Not exactly the same thing but similar.

I don't care though. Love it Noah!

I love nba goof celebrations but id rather him come into the season in shape after we gave him that deal that looks worse every day than do up this act of his.

He had a bad start, but with the exception of the Philly game, in which all the Bulls stunk, he's been great recently. He had like 5 straight double doubles, and the last two games, he's only missed a double-double by a rebound in each game.

Hes had some great games the last week or two but hes still dissapointing. And the miami series he was garbage. Its not like i dont like noah anymore, just that i wish he was more rodman-like with the consistancy of the work he puts in now that hes paid to do it.

He's been great since January 17th. He's had games of 8/10, 10/9, 14/9, and the Philly game (2/7). His other 6 games were all double doubles.

It seems as though your expectations are a little ridiculous if you consider his play the last 3 weeks to be disappointing.

Im dissapointed in his play after signing the deal, despite the fact that he has recorded msotly double doubles for the last 3 weeks. And enough with "double doubles". Kris Humphries averaged a double double as a part time starter last year and got a 1 year deal.
