What's frustrating is the Sixers winning and then talking as if its some sort of accomplishment, real effort there beating a hobbled team. I'd say their biggest accomplishment is dumb luck.

It would be awesome if the Bulls somehow found a way to eliminate the Sixers from the playoffs, if nothing else. I'm afraid Asik getting into foul trouble will be extremely costly, however.

What's worse is MVP Derrick Rose is gone for good, when he comes back he'll be just another good point guard. Maybe we'll get glimpses of a great player but, I suspect they'll few and far between.

I don't know that it's happened enough to elite athletes to have ample evidence.

 

Ample may have been the right word but, there is evidence of players having to change their games as a result of such injury.
