Bernstein is especially frustrating because I feel that with just a bit more effort he could be GREAT. Like an all time great sports radio host, if there is such a thing.

EDIT: But that clip was pretty good, Lo Pan. What B&B do better than anyone (at least, anyone on the radio) is point out the often total absurdity of sports/ sports coverage/ sports fandom.

I think they go too far to the opposite extreme and just come off as guys who try to hard to "hate" everything; I stopped listening to their show when I realized that they go out of their way to not come across as fans of anything sports-related. I know it's a daily show and "sports journalism" is an oxymoron to begin with and I never like to say that anyone is being too negative, but these schmucks are just too negative for the sake of filling time on their crappy radio show, and they try to do it under the pretense of either "hey, we're just a goofy sports show, it doesn't matter" or stopping on a dime and acting like, "this is serious, we're exposing the truth and nobody can handle it." I agree, they're the closest to actually having a tolerable radio show when they have decent analysis/criticism creep in from time to time, but inevitably they just go tumbling over the edge of sports radio douchebaggery.

Boers & Bernstein are smarmy garbage.

fact

Boers is an old bitter douche, but Bernstein makes it listenable sports talk radio. It's light years better than most of the meatheads out there spouting garbage on a daily basis.

but it's complete irony for Bernstein to write an op-ed about King being over the top when he sits next to Terry "By Cracky" Boers every day.

Yuuuuuuuuuuuuup. The irony of a radio guy who drags out audio drops and sound bytes and encouraging his ape of a partner with his schtick for YEARS is pretty delicious.

Bernstein should work to cut ties with Boers. I might be able to listen to him on his own, or with someone else. Boers is unlistenable at this point. He ruins that show, completely. And the fact that Bernstein simply sits there and lets him ruin it makes it doubly frustrating.

They're both much better without the other. I've heard each of them with sub hosts, and they can have rational conversations. They get together and it's just their same old schtick. It can be enjoyable, but it can also get really [expletive] annoying

Omer Asik, enjoy your time off.

Well, everyone else on the team has gotten some so far, it's apparently his turn now.

Jason Goff could easily replace Terry. He's pretty good.

He's much better in the sense that he actually has a logical thought from time to time, unlike Boers.

That was a rough game, but expected. Turn the page and move on.

With this game, the Bulls began a 6 game run on nationally broadcast TV. It sure would be nice to see Rose declared 100% healthy now, and work his way back during this stretch, when I can watch :)

The big bash in the stetch will be the Heat @ United Center on April 12, and if Rose is back to form by that time, it could be one heck of a nice late-season matchup on TNT.
