Great shot selection, Watson.

Also, crunch time and Lucas is in?

Just watched this off the DVR.

Key (to me) was the Bulls' weakness under the basket on both ends of the court. They couldn't stop layups on the defensive end, and they couldn't put in the easy shots on the offensive end.

Rose seeing a back specialist today. Man I hope it's nothing serious.

They are saying it happened to him in high school. So hopefully it goes away for another 5 years.

Truth is, given his size and the violence and aggressiveness rose plays with I kinda expect there to be constant injuries. Kinda like Wade.

I KNOW WHERE HE CAN GET A WHEELCHAIR

If it's the one that miraculously performed a Tebow on Pierce, I'll help pay for it! \:D/

Don't do it! This is the last wheelchair SSR sold.

Word from the back specialist is that Rose has lower back spasms, but no structural issues, and is still day to day. That's about as good as we could've hoped for.

I still wouldn't be opposed to shutting him down and trying to scrape by until after the All Star break.

I'd be fine with that as well. Get his back and his toe completely healthy and then go from there.

You're playing nothing but home games, and only 2 of the 5 teams are any good. (And 2 of them are terrible) I think you can "scrape by" just fine.

As long as we beat Sacramento and clinch Thibs a spot in the All Star game, I am fine with that.

Read from Thibs that apparently, Hamilton' about a week away, it'd be interesting see what effect a healthy Rip could have against Miami. I've got to think a healthy Rip means the Heat won't be able to solely concentrate all their defensive efforts on stopping Rose.

Really? Who gives a [expletive]? Is that important to see Deng play 38 minutes in that game too?

Huh? I am agreeing with the rest Rose contingent. Just using it to comment on the fact that the Bulls have a chance to send Thibs to the ASG tomorrow with a Bulls win (or Heat loss to Indiana). I never implied that we should pull out all the stops to win a regular season game against a team we could probably beat with the bench mob playing all 48 minutes.

Seemed like your primary concern was getting Thibs to the all-star game. My Deng comment was about the ASG, not Sacramento

I really want it to happen but in terms of achievements the Bulls should be concerned about its only slightly ahead of "get Brian Scalabrine a triple double".
