Do you feel your anecdotal experiences with physical activity qualify you to diagnose roses back? Why does 99prct of people posting here seem to think they know more about roses health than the medical and coaching staff of the bulls. or that the people with tangible stakes in roses longterm health are being reckless.

 

The medical staff has full access to rose and the coaching staff works him out everyday. Wednesday the coaches, trainers and Derrick felt like he could play, or perhaps wanted to see if his back was capable of game level stress. he played 22 minutes and reaggrevated his back.

 

We don't have any clue what would have happened if he didn't play, and the injury is just as likely to flare up in his workouts, practice or the next game.

 

It's not like he is sprawled out on the baseline getting treatment during games and then forcing himself back out there (like amare did for two weeks last year). That would be "gutting it out".

With Rose out, and the long road trip, this seems like a good opportunity to mail it in. I know that's not popular to say but this game really isn't all that important to us.

 

And Magic just mentioned he was surprised Rose was played so much against NO...

 

Just mail this in and don't get anyone else hurt. Think of how amazing this team would be without nagging injuries to pretty much all our consequential players.
