Friedell continued: "Rasheed played with Rip in Detroit and Scal in Boston. He has a comfort level with Thibs. It makes sense to take a look IF he's in shape."

 

It's possible he could be useful for certain teams in the NBA, but I'm not sure how he fits with this current Bulls team. Who is going to get less playing time? Asik? Taj? Noah and Boozer already get like 25 mins per game. Maybe if he accepts being in a Kurt Thomas role, but knowing Sheed, he's not coming back to sit on the bench for 90% of the season.

Well, we (see what I did there?) do need one more big, I believe. I don't see the problem with it. Noah's been bad, Boozer's been his usual inconsistent self, and both Omer and Taj are prone to foul trouble. That's not mentioning Noah and Boozer's previous injury history as well.

 

I think Rasheed would be a decent addition, as long as he knows that he's not going to be getting that much burn.
