bears 24 - oakland 13

i will be really impressed if the defense actually manages to score three times AND set us up in fg position another time

I want to say the Bears can win this, but I have no idea what to expect from Hanie so I'm not even going to try to predict a winner, much less the score.

oakland 4000 bears 5

Please, everyone knows the Raiders are completely incapable of blowing anyone out. They would certainly allow the Bears to score 3990 points in the second half to make the game interesting.

Tough luck for you guys but I'm not going to lie, I certainly don't mind the timing of the injury. This will probably be my lone post of the thread until after the game since I have to work during the game.

Good luck and go Raiders!

looks like the bears were going to be favored by 1 with Cutler, but it's off the board now. I still think the Bears can pull out a win here. Oakland is still just a mediocre football team, they've lost to Denver, KC and Buffalo this year. And they've still been outscored season to date. The defense will need to step up, but I think the offense can at least make a go of it, assuming the line somewhat holds it together.

i think the defense is going to be insanely focused going down the stretch here, it's all on them, and i'm sure that's the way they will see it. you're going to see urlacher and briggs driving these guys like a mule team.

Good news is the Raiders haven't played 3 strong games in a row in about 8 years. Just beat the Chargers and Vikings. They are due for a bed-crapping. Of course, who knows what to expect out of the Bears. I don't think they'll be that bad in the short term. They've shown they can win with Cutler as a compliment rather than the focal point of the offense.

Peter King continues to say the stupidest things about baseball I think I've ever read from a professional columnist.

Oak 24

Chi 13

its Hanies learning game. 3 ints feels about right.

I certainly hope not. Utilize Forte in both the run and the passing game, stay away from trying to force the ball downfield all the time.

We need a solid performance from our OLine run blocking. If we can get Forte going I'll feel pretty good.

I'm not sure why teams have trouble traveling across country, but one thing that makes me feel better about that is the fact that we went to England and looked pretty good doing it.

This is a winnable game without Cutler. It should be close, so we will have a chance to make a big play or two and take it.

I will be in San Francisco this coming weekend and was going to go to the game but I'm not really sure I want to go watch Hanie play when I'm already going to see him 2 more times at home this season.

I wouldn't go to Oakland by choice.

I've been there for an A's game -- if they had a better stadium that may be a little more reason to go. But that stadium sucks.
