As someone else pointed out, sounded like he just threw an arbitrary time frame out there to answer the question. He didn't say anything about 2-3 "more" days, as I remember it. He just said he'd imagine we'd hear something in the next 48-72 hours. Then he BSed an explanation about there being a high bidder and then needing to work out details afterward. Just sounded like speculation to me.

This was discussed a page or 2 ago. Olney was on Waddle and Silvy this morning and said he "expects a decision" within 36-48 hours. Like another poster said, this means he isn't real sure when a decision will be made but thinks it will be within 2 to 3 days. I listened to the interview, it sounded like he knew nothing more than the rest of us.

If final offers were presumeably in last night, I can only assume that at this point Pavner's just going back and forth between the last few teams trying to squeeze out just a bit more each time, and that said teams must be very close to each other in terms of their offers.
