Sources: Next round of bids for Jorge Soler are due this weekend, and right now, the most aggressive teams are Cubs, Yankees, ATL, and LAD.

Crap, Yankees and Dodgers are always tough to bid against and the Braves are the type if team to sneak in and beat everyone else out.

How do you figure?

Just thinking back to the A's sneaking under the radar and getting Cespedes in one of the offseason's many WTF moments. If willing to overpay, it's the type of bidding war in which a small market team could beat out the big market teams.

Well, he had to say something so he said that because it was a thing to say.

That's, I just. I don't.

Forget it.

And naturally, you had to make a comment such as that in response because it's your thing that you do. It's all a part of the circle of life.

If he hadn't done it first, I would have.

There's a fairly easy remedy to this. You've been asked to pause and think a bit before posting. You clearly didn't do that here b/c your post makes not the slightest hint of sense at all. It'd be one thing if you were posting opinions and those were unpopular. But this is just nonsense. I'm sorry, but there's no other way to put it. And your posting of it regularly across dozens of threads on the Board annoys people.

So please stop and think a bit more before posting.

So people should put him on ignore like I have instead of make equally silly posts so as to be cool with their bros.

Soler to sign deal before tomorrow as per www.mlbtraderumors.com

Outfielder Jorge Soler is expected to agree on a four-year deal before tomorrow, an industry source told George A. King III and Mike Puma of the New York Post. Meanwhile, the representative for Soler is calling to ask teams if their bids are final, sources tell Buster Olney of ESPN.com (via Twitter).

The Yankees, Cubs, Braves, and Dodgers have been among the most aggressive teams in their pursuit of Soler, according to Olney. The Yankees are said to have bid heavy on Soler while other teams view the Cubs as the favorite, Olney tweets. King III and Puma note that the Yankees don’t have a Plan B if they lose Nick Swisher in free agency and Soler would certainly cost less than chasing Josh Hamilton.

Plenty of other teams have been linked to Soler, including the Astros, Pirates, Indians, Red Sox, Phillies, and Blue Jays. The Mets and Marlins, meanwhile, aren't pursuing the outfielder.
