No, I wish like hell he was. But, much later, around 3 or 4 in the morning, we were leaving and we witnessed him dragging a drunk, possibly passed out girl, by her hair to his limo. At this point, we did scream Whooooooooo! To him.

Since this was brought back up kinda, here's one.....A few months back, I was at a Dodger game and they have a receiving line that allows you to meet players and celebrities. Beer/food type meet up for after the game that the owners put on. Anyway, I'm there, its usually just players stopping in to shake hands, a few wealthy types and fans, with the occasional celeb stopping in-and a bunch of fans.....I'm eating, look up from my phone because I hear a voice that sounded really familiar. He turned around and it was Sam [expletive] Jackson.

Took me by surprise, so I stuck out my hand, "Mr. Jackson, big fan of your work" I said. He stared at me. 10 seconds easy. I looked at my buddy uncomfortably, then back at Sam.....Still staring. Then, and you have to remember his voice-"HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY, IIIIIIII LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE MYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANS."

He had now begun shaking my hand, for quite an awkward length of time. Again, I looked at my buddy, who was trying not to burst out laughing. Because Sam was flat zonked out on something. Finally, a buddy of his says "Sam, time to go" and lead him to the door and likely back to wherever he'd been to get that fucked up.

I looked at my buddy and probably laughed harder than at any point in my life.

are you forrest gump?

Yep.

Seriously, grew up in NWA/WCW territory and those guys were always out, drinking their asses off. I'd be shocked if there aren't a thousand Flair stories better than mine was. As a grownup, I have to travel quite a bit and see things from time to time. The funny thing though, my wife and I moved to LA a few months back and see very little of that type stuff, other than a Kardashian at a restaurant and Tony Danza at the country mart. But I'm not around too often, as of yet.

Deli counter, or greeter at the front entrance?

Greeter. My wife recognized him, I had forgotten he existed.

I made out with Rachel Marie Oberlin (you guys might know her as Bree Olson) once when I visited my cousin back in high school.

Kinda weak that you only got to first, maybe an aggressive turn toward second, with what would ultimately wind up being a porn star bro.

I walked by Metta World Peace on Mich Ave when the Knicks were in town last week. For whatever reason I blurted out, "Hey, Ron Artest!" Shockingly I received no reply.

I played pool with Kent Mercker for about three hours in Denver. Also, sat at a table next to Kevin Johnson the day he got the Kings arena deal closed.

Yeah I know. She kinda freaked out a little (like 5-10 mins into it), said she just started seeing someone, and took off. I felt like Hirshfelder from Dazed and Confused.

"What the hell are we doing? I was getting there. Man I had my hand up her shirt."

I've also "met" Valerie Kay (spring break 2007 in Miami). I do have a wild story about when I went to LA to visit my cousin in 2005, being at a nightclub in the VIP one night, and Eva Angelina plus others were at the table to next to ours. Can't tell it since I have to keep it PG. I remember back in high school when WCW was at Pamama City Beach for Spring Break (I'm guessing this was either '98 or '99) and how EVERY girl would be all over Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell every day at the pool. There's a few others.

I did several shots of Jameson with James Gandolfini at R Bar, a dive in New Orleans, back when they were filming All the King's Men.

Also during that filming here, Jude Law and Sean Penn pull up to Maple Leaf Bar in a limo with their entourage. This place is also a dive but is known for great bands. They push through to the bartender, act like d-bags and get shouted out of the place.

Oh, the things I used to see when I drank (more).

KG(prior to moving to Chicago) placed his nuts squarely in my face, while dunking over me, screaming his ass off. Despite us winning the game by 20+, that image is what made the front page of the sports the next day. Forgive me, SSR, if I've never said anything positive about the guy. Getting ball-faced is likely why.

Ricky Davis did the same to me. After I partially blocked his shot. He then told me to enjoy the highlight of my career. Dunked all over me. It was awesome. I wish I had it on tape.

I stuck a stepback J in George Hill's eye at a local college he was practicing at (I think it was the year before he was drafted).

Okay, so I might have been pretty open, but he totally halfway raised his hand up. And I will forever will claim to be a better player than him because of that moment.

Sam Bradford, another guy, and 2 girls once got behind me in line for food after the bars had closed one night in Norman. One of girls started touching me a lot. I looked at her, looked at him, looked at her, then looked at him again. Honestly, I was just confused by the whole interaction and didn't really say or do anything.

I knew a few people who hung out with Adrian Peterson.

I also once shook Blake Griffin's hand. It engulfed mine.
